This is a small-group, photography-first experience designed to give you quiet, quality time with one of Europe’s most iconic species.

This hide-based photography safari is timed for the peak of summer—when Finland’s wild forests come alive with brown bears and their newly born cubs. Long evenings and golden light create perfect conditions for unforgettable images of curious cubs, playful behaviour, and striking encounters with adults and yearlings.

Our focus is simple: maximum time with bears, especially cubs at their cutest. You’ll also have opportunities to photograph larger cubs from the previous year, along with impressive adult bears in atmospheric light.

We’ll have exclusive use of all hides, spread across three different habitats—giving you a variety of settings, angles, and behaviours to photograph. Whether you're after low-angle views for intimate cub portraits or prefer a classic vantage point, we’ll rotate you through the best setups. And while some hides are technically doubles, you’ll still enjoy guaranteed single occupancy and toilets in every hide—so comfort and space are never compromised.

Every aspect of this journey is designed with care and integrity. Your booking is fully protected through our TTA bonding, while all flights are carbon offset with a contribution to vital taiga forest conservation. Between hide sessions, you’ll unwind at a charming Finnish lodge, complete with comfortable ensuite rooms and warm hospitality.
