Join Andy and Jamie in January 2027 for a truly memorable 12 night safari combining unforgettable wildlife photography with powerful conservation encounters and world class service. With 20 game drives across three iconic reserves, this will be an inspiring Kenya safari with extended time in Samburu.

Our first base will the world famous Samburu Reserve, it’s actually our beloved and home park. The elephant encounters here are some of the best in Africa, allowing up close and personal meetings with the breeding herds that live in the area. Samburu is also great for cats like the leopard, lion and cheetah, has it’s own big 5 species including the Reticulated Giraffe and Grevys Zebra and a wealth of bird life. We will spend 5 full days here, that is 12 drives, exploring this amazing park.

Our second base is Laikipia Wildlife conservancy where we will hopefully meet the incredible black leopard Giza plus the other leopards that call the conservancy home. If you like leopards then you will truly love this place, it’s amazing. Plus wild dogs too!

Our final base is Ol Pejeta conservancy, it’s at the forefront of rhino conservation with great populations of white and black rhinos together with amazing lion prides too!

Alongside the Big Five and world-class wildlife sightings, this itinerary offers something deeper. You’ll visit an elephant orphanage to support the local Samburu community to learn about their work and culture and visit the last two Northern White Rhinos at Ol Pejeta.
